What To Expect
Our services are casual at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Some people dress up, while others wear jeans or dress "business casual." We want you to be comfortable. We encourage you to come to our Sunday morning breakfast fellowship time, and grab a cup of coffee and meet our people.
Join us for Bible Study at 9:30. We have classes for all ages!
Our worship services start with singing and prayer. We sing some old hymns, and some new. Our pastor teaches a Bible-based message with practical application to help you live out your faith during the week. Services usually last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
If you have children under the age of 3, we have, trained volunteers in our secure nursery area.
For children through 3rd grade, we have Children’s Church - a fun, up-beat service that includes a Bible lesson taught at their level.
We encourage older students, to join their parents in the sanctuary service.
Then we invite you to come back Sunday night at 6:00 for more!
We think you'll find us to be a very warm and welcoming church. You'll learn a lot, and you'll be challenged to grow in your Christian life!

Our Pastor
Our Pastor is Dr. Scott Andrews. Scott is originally from Wisconsin, and has pastored churches in Wisconsin and Illinois since 1987. He is married to Julie Andrews--yes, she is a very gifted singer and music teacher. They have two daughters, Bethany and Sarah. Bethany is married to Michael, and they have a son, Lucas (and another on the way). Scott serves as a Chaplain in the Illinois Army National Guard.
